'Armani' is a very early red table grape variety that impresses not only with its attractive appearance, but also with its excellent flavour, high yield and excellent resistance to disease and frost. These qualities make it one of the most highly prized varieties for direct consumption and market cultivation.
The vines have bisexual, self-pollinating flowers, so that they produce reliably even in the absence of other varieties. The growing season is very short - only 105 to 115 days, with the grapes ripening in the first half of August. The shoots grow vigorously, which ensures healthy development of the clusters and abundant fruit set.
The clusters are large, conical, medium dense and weigh between 800 and 1200 g. The grapes are easy to transport, which is an advantage when selling or storing them for a long time.
The 'Armani' grapes are very large, weighing 17-20 g, 36 × 28 mm and oval in shape. The colour of the berries is reddish-purple, the skin is soft and all the berries on a cluster are aligned, which is very aesthetically pleasing. The flesh is fleshy, juicy and the flavour is pleasant, harmonious and highly appreciated by table grape lovers. Sugar content is between 18 and 19 °NM, which ensures a sweet and balanced taste experience.
The 'Armani' variety is highly prolific, with regular and stable fertility. In addition, it is characterised by its high resistance to fungal diseases and frost, which makes it easy to protect chemically and suitable for less favourable climatic conditions.
